1、 Technical principles
The battery nickel spot welding machine, as an efficient and reliable welding equipment, plays a crucial role in the battery manufacturing industry. The technical principle is mainly based on high-frequency electronic welding technology, which converts low-frequency current into high-frequency current through specific circuits and uses the heat generated by high-frequency current for welding.
During the welding process, the nickel spot welding machine first converts the low-frequency current transmitted by the battery or power grid into high-frequency current. This conversion process is amplified by a small high-frequency transformer to form a high-frequency alternating current. The frequency of this high-frequency current is usually between 10kHz and 100kHz, which generates enough heat at the solder joint to create an arc and high temperature on the surface of the nickel sheet.
At high temperatures, the surface of the nickel sheet melts locally, and at this time, two metal sheets that need to be welded are tightly pressed together by a specific pressure mechanism (such as pneumatic compression, elastic compression, or magnetic compression). As the temperature continues to rise and the pressure continues to act, the melted metal gradually cools and solidifies, forming a strong welded joint.
Nickel spot welding machines usually use the "point" contact form between the electrode and the welded object for welding. This contact form can ensure the accuracy and stability of the welding point, while avoiding excessive heating and damage to the surrounding materials.
